Structural Stabilization

Strengthen sagging floors, weakened supports and other structural problem areas from the ground up.

Structural Stabilization

Structural Stabilization done right

Your home’s foundation and the framing above it carry everything. When soil movement, moisture or years of settling take their toll, the warning signs show up as sloping floors, sticking doors and cracks in drywall or block.

PPS Waterproofing stabilizes homes with permanent adjustable crawl space jacks, steel beam reinforcement and sister framing, then addresses the moisture or drainage that caused the problem so it does not come back.

Our solutions

What we install

Steel beam installation

Supplemental steel beams that carry sagging floor systems and spread the load.

Crawl space support jacks

Permanent, adjustable steel jacks on engineered footings that lift and level floors.

Sister joists and beams

New lumber fastened alongside damaged framing to restore strength.

Soil and drainage fixes

Drainage that keeps water from softening the soil beneath footings and piers.

Our process

How it works

Inspection

We measure floor deflection, check framing and look for the root cause.

Support jacks

Adjustable jacks are set on solid footings to lift and support sagging areas.

Beam reinforcement

Steel beams or sister framing are added where the original structure is weak.

Moisture protection

Drainage, sump pumps or encapsulation keep the new supports dry for good.

FAQ

Structural Stabilization questions

What causes sagging floors?
Most often it is undersized or overspanned framing, wood weakened by crawl space moisture, or support piers settling into soft soil. We find the cause before recommending a fix.
Can sagging floors be lifted back to level?
Often they can be lifted gradually with adjustable jacks. Older framing may not return perfectly flat, but stabilizing it stops further movement.
